Service Description
Experience a captivating history tour that includes visits to museums, a scenic lighthouse, and delightful train rides, all while exploring the origins of humanity. You can choose between a full-day or half-day tour, with the longer option offering a richer experience and more sights to discover. - Tour One (Half Day): Begin with a visit to the Outeniqua Transport Museum in George, showcasing South Africa's rich transportation history through vintage locomotives, cars, and trucks. Then, enjoy a scenic ride on a refurbished service train through the Outeniqua mountains, complete with a picnic stop to take in the breathtaking views. - Tour Two (Full Day): Start by exploring the Bartolomeu Dias Maritime Museum in Mossel Bay, featuring a life-size replica of the Caravel ship and a variety of historical exhibits, including a shell museum and the first post office. - Optional Activities: Visit the historic St. Blaize Lighthouse, where you can climb to the top for stunning bay views, or explore the Point of Human Origin, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a guided tour of the cave that reveals insights into the lives of early human inhabitants.

Booking & Tour Policy This policy outlines the terms that apply to all tour bookings made with us. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge and accept the conditions below. Pricing All prices displayed are charged per person, not per tour. Discounts apply automatically to groups of three or more, who will receive 10% off the total booking value. Cancellations & Refunds Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour time qualify for a 50% refund of the full tour price. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for refunds. Rescheduling If you need to change your tour date or time, rescheduling must be completed no later than 24 hours before the scheduled departure. Rescheduling requests made after this window cannot be accommodated. Activity Availability While we aim to deliver every experience as advertised, certain activities may be unavailable due to weather conditions, venue restrictions, or operational requirements. We cannot guarantee activity availability on specific dates, and alternatives may be offered where possible.
